Cancelations:
In general, CSA follows the Troy City Schools cancellation policy, although there may be exceptions. Updates will be sent through your Parent Portal and posted on Facebook.
CSA Vacation Schedule:
CSA operates on the same vacation schedule as Troy City Schools.
Length of Dance Season:
Classes traditionally begin the week after Labor Day.
All classes end with a May performance. Our recial will be held Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th for our 2025-2026 season
Tuition:
ANNUAL TUITION
- CSA tuition is a yearly fee.
- Three payment options are available and explained below.
- The yearly fee accounts for closings due to holidays, weather, etc.
- Dancers that miss a class due to illness are welcome to attend a “make-up” class if a similar class is available, but we do not reduce or discount tuition for missed classes.
- Discounts are offered for each dancer that takes multiple classes.
- Each dancer pays full price for first class and receives 10% off each subsequent class.

TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS
CSA offers several payment options including:
- Payment in full – receive 5% off when paying annual tuition in full no later than September 24
- Two lump sum payments due September and January
- Eight monthly payments due the first week of the month
LATE FEE
A $10 non-negotiable fee will be added to accounts not paid by the 10th of the month.
Withdrawal Policy:
Enrolling in Center Stage Academy requires a signed statement that you agree to pay full tuition. To withdraw from class, the CSA Withdrawal Notice form must be completed and submitted. Until this form is received and acknowledged by the instructor, you are obligated to continue paying tuition. In addition, all past-due tuition and fees are due immediately. You are also responsible for full payment of costumes that are already on order.
What Costs Will I Have:
APPLICATION FEE
- Any registrations on or after June 15th will have a $25 registration fee.
- $25 per dancer.
CLASS TUITION
- Class prices are based on class length
DANCE SHOES and DANCEWEAR
- Dancers are required to have proper shoes and dancewear for each class.

PERFORMANCE COST
- Costume and tights
- Performance tickets and performance tickets
- Optional items are offered, such as pictures, performance t-shirts, etc. These are not mandatory.
Year-End Performances:
SPRING PRODUCTION
In May, CSA presents its annual spring production for all of our students. Our recital weekend is split up into 4 shows based on class level.
Petite Dancers (Mini movement-Combo Level 1) – Sunday, May 10th – 12:30p.m. or 2:30p.m.
Combo Level 2- Youth Levels – Saturday, May 9th – 2:00p.m.
Intermediate-Senior Levels – Saturday, May 9th – 6:00p.m.
A comprehensive performance packet is distributed in February that addresses every detail of this show.
PERFORMANCE EXPENSES
No dancer is required to participate in the end-of-year performance. However, a commitment in the form of a costume deposit is required in November. Cost of a costume(s) is not included in tuition. Costume balance must be paid in full in April. The only additional required expense is for performance tickets. All guests (ages two and up) require a ticket to enter the auditorium. Other expenses that are not mandatory, include pictures, footnotes, performance t-shirt, program advertising, etc. All expenses are detailed in the performance packet.
